I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! It's finally here! We leave tomorrow for our cruise! I am so excited, but sad I'm not able to write every day next week! I will take plenty of pictures to document the trip! I can't wait to sail the high seas and get my tan on! (FINALLY!)

Budget Decorating: BOOKS!

Books are a simple and effortless way to warm, fill and decorate a space! As I've said before I love books about decorating because they are so inspiring and I love to just curl up and look at the beautiful pictures! Books are also great to help decorate a space on a budget. They can be expensive, so I always go on Amazon, search the new and used books and usually find the book I want at a discounted price! I haven't had any issues with shipping either, which is always great! Since this newlywed is on a budget, I usually just buy one book at time and am slowly but surely building my own collection! Get more books for your brain, your tables, shelves and lonely surfaces!

Spring is in Bloom!

I can not believe that it is March ALREADY! Wow this year is flying by! I can feel spring in the air, as it is another beautiful day here in Jacksonville! I wish I could be outside, but I have the door wide open at Lilee's so I can enjoy the weather as much as possible!

Since moving into our home back in October, it has been mostly cold weather so we have not been able to get out in our yard and fix it up. The grass and plants were not in the best shape (pretty much dead) when we moved in, and with many "freezing" nights these past couple of months, it looks even worse! I'm ready for some gorgeous green grass, color and blooms! We are antsy to get out in the yard ASAP, and as soon as it starts to warm up we will! Here are some beautifully landscaped gardens that just inspire me even more!
